Reviews
I enjoyed this unit and assignments and content is fairly basic. However, the content can be a little too basic at times espeically coming into the unit with prior sociology knowledge. Yet, my tutor made the content rather intersting through questioning the weeks readings and provoking very different thoughts on every topic. Overall, this unit is worth it.

I can say this was a great subject to anyone who never skipped lessons and any student who put effort to learn. I passed just fine

I was excited for this unit but was left very disappointed. The unit description is somewhat misleading. It is a very left wing subject, the tutorials completely rubbish any perspective or idea that is contrary to the crazy and overthought content in the lectures. Scientifically based academic sources are not permitted either, so for the main assignment you must refer to weird theory with little empirical evidence. Lots of talk about gender and it is just a put off. Horrible subject, I could honestly go on forever about how much I DON'T recommend this to people, especially if you are a critical thinker and don't immediately buy in to everything you are taught.
