simple and straight forward sub. Good lecturers and I got a straight distinction and I am willing to guide other students

Absolutely terribly run unit. The end of semester exam is gigantic and there is barely any support to help you pass it. Any posts on the forum or emails were ignored by the lecturers. The only "practice exams" we were given were ~10 questions and there were no answers given for questions. You could only attempt the practice exams once and after that you couldn't even look at the practice questions you just answered as they lock you out of the practice exam once you click finish. Most lecturers were terrible, especially Peter Boag's lectures in the middle of semester which were completely incoherent and taught in a confusing order. Save yourself the stress and don't take this unit unless you desperately want to major in Biochemistry

poorly organised course content, little support and enormous exam covering small aspects brushed over in lectures

Poorly run unit!! Peter Boag’s lectures are absolute chaos and the content is not taught in the order that it occurs!!

BCH2022 was much better than BCH2011. It still had heaps of information but it was quite integrated and I was lucky to have a really good demonstrator. There was still a lot of homework (more than necessary) but it really helps with other units and the information was much more enjoyable to learn than BCH2011
