Reviews

The lecture notes are thorough and the lecturer is genuinely one of the best I've had yet. However the 3rd party quizzes use different calculation methods to what's focussed on in the course so often you'll get questions wrong simply for using the calculator or a specific method that gives you a narrowly different answer to what the textbook and quiz focusses on. It's very frustrating as it's worth marks but the unit is otherwise fantastic. DONT LET THE MID SEM SCARE YOU! It's deliberately difficult to get your butt into gear for the second half of the semester. I think anyone can do well in this unit!

Must be good at maths and understand what each formula means. Exams include many trick questions so different students will have different experiences. I personally suffered.

HIGHLY calculator based unit structured around the fundamentals of finance. A good user of the calculator will do well in this unit.
