Jaii was so boring to listen to as a lecturer, and made things overly complicated or didn't explain them very well. As a tutor, Chris was the opposite, and explained things so clearly and thoroughly I wish he had been the lecturer. Group tasks and tests were adequate, and content will be much easier to understand if you have a good lecturer.

Put some efforts to go and see the lecturer or tutors, show them your thoughts/answers on the tests/assignment/discussion. They will not give you straight answers but hints/recommended readings to be able to get good marks. If you do not get 10/10 for the tests, try to get feedback on your answers and remember them as they will come up again in the final. Practicing writing (as fast as possible) your answers on paper is an essential skill to nailed the tests/final, trust me, typing will not save you in this course. Lecturer Jai is one of the most passionate and helpful lecturers I've ever had.

Interesting subjects with comprehensive lecture covering micro & macro-environment. The exam is not too difficult which is mainly recommended for revising from weekly tutorials Henry.hilleducation@gmail.com

Struggled with first year micro and completely gave up on economics cuz of the poor teaching quality in ecc1000. Somehow I decided to give ECC1100 a go and I'm so glad I did !! can finally understand why a lot of people like economics. Lecturer(Jaai Parasnis) was really good at explaining things and unit was really well structured and the tutor (Anupama Sethi) was one of the best I've ever gotten - she could summarize the main points, go through the quiz questions, and tute questions - all in one hour ! Would recommend that everyone should do this unit .

Probably one of the most enjoyable units in Commerce imo

Love this unit. It is not only interesting and engaging but also opened my eyes to challenges in the economy and real world problems. Textbook was engaging and easy to understand however lectures can be a bit long and draining at times.

Very easy unit and structured VERY well around the relevant textbook.

Excellent unit, both tutors and lecturer were engaging. If you studied and liked economics in high school, would highly recommend this unit.

Very interesting unit, even reading the textbook was engaging. Great lecturer with no assignments and a fairly easy mid-semester test.
