I didn't end up going to any of the tutorials or lectures after week 3, but still ended up getting high distinctions for my essays. The content taught in lectures and tutorials are not necessary. In summary it teaches you how to become a university student, and no such content was required to complete assignments and pass the unit. This unit doesn't have an exam and is only assessed based upon two essays and a few quizzes. It a super easy unit, only existing to provide some sort of distinction between a bachelor of science course and DOT and higher education diploma courses.
