While not my field of counselling this was my favourite subject, which also had a lot to do with the lecturer who was excellent. Like most subjects in this degree, topics are covered at a high level, your lecturer will make a difference here based on their experience working with children and adolescents - use their knowledge!. What you get out of this subject is what you put in. The assignments require a lot of journal reading and research - ensure you do this and you will pass. Follow the rubric - always!
