Absolutely terrible unit. I really cannot say enough bad things about this unit. Lectures and tutorials are taught in a way that makes it incredibly difficult to take anything away from them and because of that, they feel like a waste of time to attend, especially the tutorials. The assessment however is where the unit's awfulness really shows. The assessment is blatantly unfair with what it expects from you. There are not enough instructions for you to recognise what the assessment actually wants you to do, and the instructions that are there are worded so poorly it might as well not even be there. The assessment is also almost entirely marked automatically. This means that if you make the slightest mistake in your output and its not 100% how the automatic marker wants the output to be presented, you will lose almost all of your marks even if your method is correct. Feedback from assessment is also not thorough enough and so it is very difficult for you to figure out what you actually did wrong. Overall, this is just one of the worst units I have had to do, and I am hoping to god that I managed to pass this unit because I never want to even look at this unit again.
