Absolutely shocking The unit coordinator at clayton was terrible and she was inconsistent with the peninsula. She didn't even provide enough resources, hence leading to many people struggling in the exam. Also she is hostile to people with disabilities. She is hostile in terms of not providing enough support with people with disabilities before placement and thus setting them up to fail on clinical placement. I think this subject is flawed in the way its taught and its clinical placement. In my honest opinion it should be renamed discrimination in clinical practice because some of the clinical educators are really against students with disabilities and the way the faculty handles placement with people with disabilities is absolutely shocking. Rather than providing reasonable adjustments to people with disabilities, the faculty dumps them on their own, even without a clinical educator, hence setting them up to fail and endangering patient safety.
