Did this over summer of 2018. It was an alright unit. The online interactivity of the unit was annoyingly pointless. You are required to post a reflection about what you have learnt after every lecture in order to see the next lecture. The weekly chat sessions consisted of 1 lecturer asking questions to ~15 students, which makes it impossible to have any meaningful discussion as the chat is just spammed with messages. Some of the lecture content was interesting but was paced horribly. The micro-nutrient lectures in particular were extremely dense with information that you are required to memorize and most of the content was just sped through by the lecturer as they tried to keep to their time limit. The assignments were easy to pass but were filled with a number of "trick" questions that make it difficult to get an exceptional grade. The exams however were extremely easy and very straight forward. Overall it's a good, easy unit to fill an elective, but don't expect too much out of it. Some advice I can give would be to memorize all the micro-nutrient content for the exam, as this was about 90% of the final exam. And to get a good grade in the chat sessions just write things like "I agree with (person's name)" or "That's a good point, I hadn't thought of that". It's meaningless talk, but it'll get you a good grade.

the summer unit was a little difficult to navigate around - found it hard to plan out what was needed to be done by the end of each week because you had to 'unlock' each half week's content by completing a forum post. But, I found the unit practical in the sense that what we learnt was info that could be applied to our everyday lives - which was one of the main reasons I decided to do this unit
