The internship was great! But the assessments are terrible! I went into it thinking that the grade of the unit would come somewhat from working for two whole weeks for free, but in reality the unit is not a measure of how well you can complete an internship. Instead it is a measure of how well you can write a series of reflections and babble on for a large amount of words. The rubrics for each assessment are also suspiciously simple, allowing you to easily miss something in your assessment that you didn’t know should be included. A shame that a portion of the grade couldn’t just come from successfully completing the internship.

I enjoyed my internship very much!!! It was a great opportunity to get experience and to network with professionals who are currently working in the industry. But the marking rubrics for all the assignments are terrible, all the criteria are very vague! Even if you followed all the instructions on the rubrics, they will never give out good results.

would have given five stars if they reduced the amount of assignments. it's a little too much considering the fact we have work to do for the internship specifically as well. if not, an amazing unit and absolutely enjoyed it

Great way to get industry experience while not being weighted down in complicated assessments. The assessments were targeted to help you get the most out of your internship. Would highly recommend applying for this unit if you can!
