Very reasonable workload, content is quite straightforward, gets very confusing if you have a bad tutor.

Easy to relate. Demand/Supply, market structure. All of these concepts are easy to understand. There are graphs and a bit of calculation but they are straightforward as long as you work through examples.

Lecturer Dave Savage is a dick. He talks about himself and drugs too much, and spends very little time explaining the course content. Tutors really help to fill the gaps in his knowledge - tutes are far more important that the lecture. Dave is getting a massive kickback from the new textbook mob, so he has made everyone do online weekly tests through their website instead - make sure you print your marks at the end as they tend to get "lost" and you get the class average. Dave also has trouble sticking to the course outline, and thinks its okay to change due dates and make things due during the break - if you have any problems talk to the program co-ordinator. She is fantastic and whips him back into line.

The lecturer Dr Savage is great! He is funny and I feel sorry for anyone who comes in late or leaves early. He is really good at explaining the content and since he does it in his weird and wonderful way, it is easier to remember. Let's just say his lectures are definitely not boring lol

Great subject, my favourite so far. I went to PASS sessions and they helped loads in regards to study notes for the final exam. Basically just a memory test.

I enjoyed this subject! My tutorial leader Jonathon was always helpful and nice. The lecturer and duty tutor were both approachable and knowledgeable on the subject. Just keep up with the workshops, lectures and tutorials, and go to PASS classes and you should be fine. I did all this and I got a HD!
