This course is alright, it should have a pair from MATH1001/MATH1002/MATH1110/MATH1120 + Basic Econometrics as prerequisite. Intermediate micro books are based on basic multivariable calc, impossible to properly understand content if you math background is weak.

Very poorly done subject. The workshop format didn't work at all. The subject is all maths (unlike last year, which was theory based), and the class (lecture style), only went through the theory and ignored the maths. Because of all the maths involved, this subject is rather difficult for students without a strong background in maths.

It was presented in a way which made the topic seem quite boring, however the textbook was useful and had some good case studies which aided the learning process
