Classes are really well run, lectures are kept interesting by not simply reading off powerpoint slides. Important to go to lectures and tutorials if you expect to understand the content. Gives a good base knowledge of history to enable us to teach later on.

Interesting course to learn new perspectives about Australia's past. In all a relatively alright course. However, there should have been more tutorials given on correct referencing and active voice as tutors heavily focused on this when grading essays.

You really need to pay attention in every two hour lecture and make sure you go, as the lecturer adds in some critical information within them. All of this knowledge is tested at the end of semester, and helps with understanding history when becoming a teacher. I enjoyed the course, there are now so many things I didn't know that I do know that have shocked me and kept me looking into things in my own time.
