This is a great continuation from LING1111. The content is engaging and the smaller class sizes mean you can really engage with Bill.

All of the topics covered in this course are interesting and taught by a passionate, knowledgable lecturer. However I felt that the work in the assignments was too advanced for what we covered. Also, when the exam came around, we weren't really told what would be in it. All that was said was that we should expect something from each subject that was covered - which is pretty obvious any way. They either need simpler work or more thorough study/tutorial help. However I would recommend this course for anyone interested in Linguistics. It is definitely challenging!
