High Distinction (86) LAWS2018 Private International Law A Notes
Subject notes for USYD LAWS2018
Description
These notes served me well in the mid-semester and final exam for the unit, helping me to a high distinction for the unit as a whole. They were completed for Professor Anderson's stream of the course, but are relevant for all iterations of the course, both LLB and JD, and also for both semesters (the course is run unchanged in Semesters 1 and 2). The topics covered are, in order of appearance: choice of law in tort; personal jurisdiction; substance and procedure; proof of foreign law; exclusionary doctrines; choice of law in contract; and the enforcement of foreign judgments.
