HD Exam cheat sheet for Statistical Practice 1
Subject notes for Swinburne STA60001
Description
This document contains the cheat sheet I wrote and used for an HD during the completion of the Statistical practice 1 exam. It is within the 4 page requirement so just print it and take it with you! The text is small so this is not one for the poor sighted. The four pages contain both formulas and report examples (ie., what to include in each report and the assumptions for each test). They also include worked examples. If you choose to purchase this cheat sheet, I would STRONGLY recommend you do so prior to the exam and complete your revision questions with it. This will allow you to familiarise yourself with its format and also to alter anything to better suit your personal needs. This document covers: Binomial Test, Z-test, Z-stat and T-stat differences, T-test (one and two-tailed), Direct causation, common cause, confounding factor, coincidence, Paired samples t-test, independent samples t-test, Sp2, cohen's D, Kths, independent samples t-test, pearson's r, Chi-square, calculating the SD, reporting single variables and multiples variables (metric and categoric). The examples are a selection of my own correct answers to textbook and class exercises. Good luck and happy statsing ;P
