H1 Comprehensive Admin Exam Notes
Subject notes for UniMelb LAWS50032
Description
Comprehensive and streamlined Admin Law exam notes. These took me a full week to make before SWOTVAC; They may not be colourful or hyperlinked but the content is extensive and thoroughly ordered for your convenience. NOTE: these are structured in terms of answering the exam, not in terms of curriculum; you just need to follow down the reasoning paths from beginning to end. See *FREE* sample (regarding different approaches to analysing Privative Clauses) as an example of this. It also includes important throwaway/acknolwedging statements that are expected to be included in your answer (usually marked with a 'NOTE' or 'ACKNOWLEDGE'). Most importantly, it includes ALL of the avenues that an exam question can go (ie. federal common law & ADJR vs state common law and ALA) as well as the relevant statute provisions. Again, they have been condensed and ordered in an exam question answering sequence, not according to the curriculum. Other topics include: Basics of statutory interpretation, Freedom of Information, Right to Reasons, Merits Review, Judicial Review & standing, Grounds of Judicial Review (eg Procedural fairness), Jurisdictional Error and Privative Clauses
