Comprehensive Administrative Law notes receiving a high distinction mark in the final exam (86). Note: Topic 1-3 was examinable in Midsemester Exam Topic 4-9 was examinable in Final Exam Full course notes including detailed summaries of case law summarising judgements of courts and commentary of assigned textbook. These notes have been made through compiling different sets of notes from HD students in conjunction with the assigned textbook, optional reading and tutorial work. Topics: Topic 1: Introduction Topic 2: Merits Review - By the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Topic 3: Jurisdiction of The Courts Topic 4: Access to Judicial Review – Standing Topic 5: Judicial Review of Rule-Making Topic 6: Procedural Fairness Topic 7: Considerations, Purposes, Policies and Representations Topic 8: Unreasonableness Topic 9: Errors of Law and Fact Topic 10: Jurisdictional Error and Invalidity Topic 11: Judicial Review Remedies Topic 12: Case Study - Breach of Statutory Duty to Give Reasons Topic 13: Statutory Attempts to Exclude and Restrict Judicial Review Includes a key scaffold of the whole topic which can be used to structure answers for the final exam problem question. This scaffold was the key to my high distinction mark as it helped me understand how the individual topics are linked together to answer the final problem question.
