These notes have been made through spending many hours to compile different sets of notes from HD students in conjunction with the assigned textbook, optional reading and tutorial work. Topics include: Topic 1: Interpretation & Trade + Commerce Topic 2: Inconsistency Topic 3: External Affairs Topic 4: Corporations Power Topic 5 – Section 92: Freedom of Interstate Trade – Constitutional prohibition Topic 6: Taxation Topic 7: Lecture Grants Topic 8 – Defence And The Communist Party Case – Purposive Power Topic 9: Implied Freedom of Political Communication Topic 10: Intergovernmental Immunities Part II: Problem Question Scaffolds (sample pages 3-17) Includes a comprehensive scaffold of each topic which is essential for answering problem questions during the final exam as it ensures that all essential elements of the question are addressed. This scaffold also helped me understand how the individual topics are linked together and was the key to my high distinction mark.
