NEUR30002 Notes
Subject notes for UniMelb NEUR30002
Description
Updated and concise notes that helped me score a H1! To simplify some concepts, I restructured and reorganised the layout of lecture slides in a manner that would be easier to understand and connect. Throughout the semester, I mainly revised off the lecture slides however there were some lectures or lecturers which I found to be difficult to understand. These were mainly lectures that were packed with content which was very overwhelming and confusing when reviewing (particularly ANS and Neuroinflammation ) It was difficult to break down these concepts purely off the lecture slides therefore I decided to write detailed summarises for them. This helped me have a better understanding of the material being taught and at the end, I was able to grasp these concepts very well. These notes include tables, diagrams, annotations and colour coding. I hope these will also help you understand some of the content better :) I have listed down below the lectures in which I summarised: - Lecture 1: Cellular Components of The Brain - Week 4 Lecture 3: Introduction to the Enteric Nervous System - Week 5 Lecture 2: Microbiota 1 - Week 5 Lecture 3: Neuropsychiatry and Microbiota - Week 6 Lecture 1: Autonomic Nervous System - Week 6 Lecture 2: Autonomic Nervous System 2 - Week 6 Lecture 3: Viscerosensory Afferents - Week 7 Lecture 1: Viscerosensory Processing in the Solitary Tract Nucleus (NTS) - Week 7 Lecture 2: Neurogenesis 1 - Week 7 Lecture 3: Neurogenesis II - Week 8 Lecture 1: Respiration 1 - Week 9 Lecture 1: Sympathetic Respiratory Coupling - Week 9 Lecture 2: Foundations of Neuroinflammation - Week 10 Lecture 1: Neuroinflammation and Multiple Sclerosis - Week 12 Lecture 1: Cortical Circuits 1 - Week 12 Lecture 2: Cortical Circuits Planner
