H1 (100) Highly Detailed Comprehensive Principles of Finance Notes 📈
Subject notes for UniMelb FNCE10002
Description
Outstanding and extremely detailed notes that allowed me to achieve a score of 100 for PoF overall, consisting of scores of 100% on both the MST and Assignment (SEM 1 2023) These notes will serve as an incredibly valuable tool to navigate the subject throughout the semester and excel in all 3 assessments. They are structured in a way so that the underlying intuition behind concepts taught in lectures are explained thoroughly and leave no room for questions/doubt when learning the content. They are updated to the current course (Semester 1 2023), as it tends to change throughout years, with the respective lectures included: 1. Introduction Principles of Finance and Financial Mathematics 1 2. Introduction to Financial Mathematics 2 3. Debt Markets & Securities 4. Equity Markets & Securities 5. Modern Portfolio Theory and Asset Pricing 1 6. Modern Portfolio Theory and Asset Pricing 2 7. Capital Budgeting 1 8. No Lecture (MST) 9. Capital Budgeting 2 10. Capital Structure and Payout Policy 1 11. Capital Structure and Payout Policy 2 12. An Introduction to Options What do they contain? For each lecture, I have included all examinable content from the lecture slides/teaching notes, as well as the textbook. This includes diagrams, explanations of specific calculations, examples and additional comments. With these notes, you won't have to waste any time trying to find diagrams/formulas from slides and can be sure they contain all relevant information (examinable content). I found that the slides that are provided during lectures lack in-depth explanations and intuition behind specific trends/formulae, and even strategies to sovle tute questions. Consequently, I have supplemented this lack of detail in my notes which heavily assisted me in performing well in the subject, specifically the MST and Exam as the lecturers tend to put a few questions in tests based on very small details within the slides and end up being the worst performing questions within the cohort. These notes are perfect for all types of students: - Students too lazy to write their own notes - Students trying to cram before the MST and/or the Exam - Students with the goal of achieving a H1 - Students who want a reference to supplement their own notes These notes were paramount in developing my financial acumen and my success in the subject to achieve a 100. I hope they can be of equal assistance to you!
