HD Applied Company Law notes (79014)
Subject notes for UTS 79014
Description
Extensive but concise ACL notes consisting of all relevant case summaries (throughout and also compiled at the end for easy reference). I used subheadings and colour-coding to divide the material in a clear and understandable way, which was especially helpful in the final exam when trying to locate a specific case or piece of info. These notes cover all topics (1-10): 1. Alternative business structures 2. Characteristics of a company 3. Company's liability in crime, contract and corporate social responsibility (CSR) 4. Inside the company: rules, members and directors 5. ASIC, fundraising and disclosure 6. Director's duties part 1 - section 180 and 588G and general law 7. Directors duties Part 2 - sections 181, 182, 183 and 184 and general Law 8. Members' (shareholders') remedies 9. Companies in distress and external administration 10. Auditors, accounts and financial reporting (I began the sample at topic 2 so you can get a better idea of how I format the case tables, as there weren't any cases covered before then)
