A good baseline subject for understanding business worldwide
Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018
Overall the subject was pretty interesting and taught important concepts about business. The tutorials were very helpful towards the assignments and the case studies will help you with the short answer questions in the exam. IMO it's not necessary to read the textbook. The exam was much easier than I thought, considering how content-heavy it was.

Good starting point on the basic theories of doing business internationally. Provided me with the motivation to major in international business.

Keiran was an amazing tutor and made a subject that I was worried I wasn't going to enjoy a very enjoyable subject that I received a 6 mark for

Great experience with the lecturer the tutor was OK. The two mini assessment pieces related to the larger assignment. The content was enjoyable and lots of examples. Read the cases in the text book and make a note of which key points they highlight so that you can use them in the exam as examples. Make sure to read the text book and do the tutorial questions since they are structured like the exam questions. The lecturer was very helpful and even gave a revision lecture with summary slides. Biggest problem was the group assignment which other group members left for the last minute.

Lecturer liked the sound of his own voice and he thought he was funny. (Must be an economics lecturers trait)

Overall, I found the entire unit enjoyable. I had learnt a lot and it is one of the reasons I chose International Business as my major. While I did well in assessments and the tutorial exercises, the exam was a lot harder than what I had expected. So study hard!!!

I though this would be harder than what it is, but I actually did well in assessments and enjoyed it so much so that I will do International Business as a minor in 2017 because I liked this course quite a lot
