Easy and fun subject.

IFB104 is a nice introduction to Python while also teaching the basics of Python GUI development and some simple HTML and web scraping. It's a shame they force students to use web scraping libraries like urllib instead of others like Beautiful Soup but it's still a nice introduction to web scraping techniques using regular expressions. Overall a very nice introduction to programing techniques through a simple but powerful language.

This was a great start to learning not just how to write code, but how to figure out solutions to unique problems that can be solved with code. Teaches the basics of Python, HTML, SQL, and Regular Expressions.

Enjoyable subject which gives a good introduction to programming. You'll be surprised with how much you get out of this course especially if you have never programmed before

Very easy introductory course into programming, using Python. Touched on some HTML and SQL towards the end. Stay on top of the weekly exercises and youll be fine.

First half is very basic, free online courses in python, html, and minimal sqlite could supplement easily

Twice the workload of any other subject. Challenging if you've never studied computing before. Worth it.

Personally, I found it a really tough subject, even though most of my friends got really good marks. I understood the criteria but just couldn't apply it.
