Quite enjoyable but content heavy.

Not a bad subject. I found it decently content focused, so if you don't want to fall behind on readings/content then you really need to stay on top of things. There's a lab report worth a fair chunk of the marks and the exam was fairly challenging only because it asked very specific questions so unless you knew the content back to front, it's a little hard to know what the right answer was. Tutors are super helpful :)

I found this class to be extremely boring. However this may be as I'm comparing it to my other subject like criminology and forensic psychology which are infinitely more interesting. Some lecturers were good to listen to - however most simply read the information from the slides in a mind-numbingly monotone voice. Tutorials were slightly better than the lectures - the two demonstrations with actual children were interesting and a good experience. Assignments were really easy - everything was basically spelled out for you so if you failed you probably didn't follow the extremely detailed structure provided (even told you what to say). The exam was exactly what they said it would be so study was fairly easy (if your brain didn't explode from boredom that is). Overall - I learnt some stuff but I probably wont use or remember any of it.
