UOW Science Tutor Kate

Kate was my tutor for chem104 and chem105. Kate has helped me to not only understand chemistry but actually enjoy what I was doing. She is patient, kind and so so clever. I had never done chemistry throughout high school, but the way she helped me to understand the concepts of chemistry is truly amazing. I went from failing chemistry in my first year to finishing up with a distinction. She is the best tutor I have had and she would be the first person I would recommend to anyone needing a tutor.

Kate was my tutor for both chem104 and chem105. As a student who did not complete any kind of chemistry in high school or before undertaking my degree, Kate was very patient and knowledgeable. She was able to explain concepts to me that in tutorials did not quite make sense. As a person that previously had no interest in sciences/math Kate made learning chemistry fun and enjoyable. I ended my first year of Uni with a Distinction in both chem104 and chem105 which would not have been achieved without the help and guidance of Kate.

Kate was my MEDI314 and BIOL214 tutor in 2021. Kate was very patient and mastered her knowledge and skills for the subjects she taught. Her expertise has shown throughout the 6 months of tutoring through her excellent teaching techniques and the out-of-hour support she provided. My marks for these subjects have dramatically improved because of her guidance. She also has an amazing perspective and experience with how to approach the application for a Doctor of Medicine degree. I would highly recommend Kate as a tutor.

Kate was my tutor for both chem104 and chem105. Kate was an amazing tutor who was extremely patient with me when it came to difficult subjects. She was also great in working around a casual employed uni student and always found time for a session. Kate’s extremely knowledgeable when it comes to chemistry and i imagine it transfers across all subject. I credit Kate deeply to my marks! I wouldn’t have gotten through the subjects without her help
