About the tutor - My name is Helen, a Criminology Honours graduate (Honours Class 1) from UNSW. - I graduated with a Criminology and Criminal Justice Honours degree in 2022 and was awarded the 2020 Dean’s List for Arts & Social Sciences and The School of Social Sciences Prize – 2 for the best performance in the Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice (2020). - I offer tuition for Criminology (CRIM), Social Policy and Research (SOSS) subjects and Japanese subjects (from introductory to professional Japanese). ** Related experience - Indigenous Tuition Program (ITP): Employed since the beginning of 2020 by UNSW Nura Gili, to offer coursework and assessment help to first-year to third-year First Nations students. - UNSW Criminology Society's Peer Mentoring Program: Helped first-year to fifth-year Criminology/Criminology-Law students with their Criminology and Social Research and Policy subjects. - Seminar assistant for introductory Japanese courses (e.g. ARTS1631) at UNSW - Private Japanese tutor since 2018 - Japanese Exchange Program Peer Mentor: Employed by UNSW Global, to assist exchange students from several Japanese high schools and universities with their coursework and research projects. ** Teaching style - Flexible teaching style: Everyone has their preferred way of learning.
