Macq. Science Tutor Martin
Hey :)
My name is Martin.
I am a Bachelor of Medical Sciences student at Macquarie University, and I work for the Faculty of Science & Engineering as a Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) Leader and a Success Coach (Success in STEM program). I also work for the Walanga Muru team as a First Year Advisor and Academic Tutor for many first-year units.
I am a PAL leader for PHYS1210 (Physics for Life Sciences). I achieved a mark of 90/100 (one of the highest and hence selected for the role). I have 3 years experience with this unit now, and I know the full content and structure of the unit. PAL is very beneficial and is a good learning tool to boost your marks as we reinforce concepts and go through the problem-solving process of these physics questions. Students improved their grades significantly when they attend my PAL sessions (it's a fact)! Despite PHYS1210 being a difficult unit, most of my tutees have obtained a high distinction grade.
I charge $60/hr for individuals. Tutoring is done online (Zoom; I use a drawing pad to solve questions). I will alter my teaching style to your needs and determine what is best for your success. Please send me a message to enquire. I will be the best asset you'll ever have in obtaining a HD in this unit. Each semester I tutor around 20 students for this unit.
From my knowledge of physics, lecturers and various textbooks, I've made my own personal notes which I'm selling for $60. These high-distinction quality notes are 130 pages long, and consists of fully worked-out examples, diagrams and thorough explainations across all topics of learning content taught in PHYS1210. Over 10% of students in the course have purchased them and highly rated them - I've spent hundreds if not thousands of hours on these notes, which are regularly being updated.
