Hi there! I am currently in my fourth year of my postgraduate MD programme at the University of Queensland. I have completed my Bachelor of Science (Honours), majoring in Biomedical Science and minoring in Public Health in the National University of Singapore.
I have been tutoring students since 2016 in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, giving me a total of 7 years of tutoring experience. I am very passionate about teaching and helping students enjoy the topics they have to learn in school. I believe that having a strong interest for the subject plays a critical role in one's learning and of course, scoring for the subject.
My classes are usually held in a lighthearted mood, so that my students feel comfortable to speak up at anytime in the class. I highly encourage my students to ask questions to reinforce their learning processes. I would also share with my students effective study methods that have helped me in my undergraduate and current postgrad medical school, so that they can benefit from my experience.
On top of that, I am also able to provide advice on career options, medical school application process, and my education experience in medical school.
