I am a current provisional PhD Candidate at Deakin University, and a first-class honours graduate from the University of Melbourne. My specialisation is in political science and criminology at a university level, and legal studies and global politics at a VCE level. What to expect & rates: Coverage of readings, planning essays for high marks for tuition. Edits for spelling errors and grammar, assistance with reducing word-count, and restructuring for proof-reading. Rates: 1 tutoring session goes for an hour for tutoring/essay-planning, or a standard 2000 word essay proof-reading. $60 per session (University coursework) $40 per session (VCE coursework)

At the beginning of this semester I was on the lookout for a tutor to aid in raising and maintaining my WAM for my final semester of studies (around an 80). I could not have been happier with the relief provided in choosing Oscar. For me the most essential aspect of a tutor is someone you can trust and who understands the periods of time shortage and subsequent necessity of on-hand assistance. Oscar has done all of this. He has an impressive turn around time, is very responsive, reasonably priced and picks up on details I would have never noticed myself. This impression has equally been reflected in my marks this semester. Definitely recommend.
