UWA Engineering Tutor Joshua

Hello! I am a PhD Student at UWA and a fully qualified Engineer and ICT professional. I graduated with a Master in Professional Engineering (Specialising in Software) with Distinction (average WAM of over 80). I also have a double major in Engineering and Computer Science. I work as a Facilitator for various units at UWA. I have received three letters of commendation (in 'Internet of Things', 'Software Testing and Quality Assurance' and Cloud computing) for achieving the best grade in the cohort and am a member of the golden key international honour society (offered membership for top 15% academic achievement at UWA). I have worked as a Pawsey 2025/2026 Summer Intern (selected from over 800 applicants in Australia) doing research with the Global Disease Modelling Team at Perth Children Hospital. I was an attendee of the International High-Performance Computing Summer School (top 80 HPC research students selected globally). I have facilitated for the following units at UWA: - CITS2002 (Systems programming) - MATH1720 (Mathematics Fundamentals) - GENG5505 (Project Management & Engineering Practice) - CITS1401 (Computational Thinking with Python) - CITS3001 (Advanced Algorithms) - CITS2211 (Discrete structures) - CITS3007 (Secure Coding) - CITS2005 (Object Oriented Programming) - CITS3301/4401 (Software Requirements and Design) - CITS5501 (Software Testing and Quality Assurance) Although I'm very familiar with the content of the above units, I also offer private tutoring for units I've completed; let me know what topics you're struggling with, and we can work through it together. I can provide tutoring at UWA or online. I have about 2 years of teaching experience at UWA (lecturing and lab facilitating). I also have over 3 years of teaching experience for private tutoring. I have also marked assignments and tests at UWA (so I know what markers are looking for).
