Hi I'm Alex and I'm a 1st year Medical student at the University of Melbourne. (Class of 2027) In 2023, I was able to complete a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University with a WAM of 90 and a 7 GPA. Along with a GAMSAT score of 76, I was fortunate enough to receive interview offers for both Monash University and the University of Melbourne medical programs. However, I knew that the interview portion comprised of 50% of the medical admission process and was the make or break for entry into my dream course. Therefore I spent 200+ hrs developing and revising strategies for the medical interview, including developing unique answer structures, dealing with curveball question types and managing time effectively. Alex is a great tutor for the MMI! By practicing mock interview questions and receiving feedback from him, I can feel myself giving more well-rounded responses each week. With his help, I was able to secure an MD offer at the University of Melbourne. Preparing for medical school interview can be stressful and daunting. I think Alexander is a great tutor if you know what you are looking for! Very clear and directed in his approach to teaching, and willing to tweak his lessons in order to fit you best. From my experience his teaching style is very focused on having you learn by doing, and reflecting on that and where to improve. Would definitely recommend if you learn best with a hands-on approach.

Alex was a great tutor, he provided excellent feedback for my MMIs and came to each session prepared with lots of practice questions specific to areas that I needed a little extra help with, and as a result I was fortunate enough to receive an offer. Alex was also very responsive to texts and I would recommend him to anyone studying for their interviews :)
