H1 WAM | 4+ years in arch office in Melb, Adl and Syd | Employed UniMelb tutor | Master of Arch graduate I am an ambitious and experienced Master of Architecture graduate, currently working full-time as a Building Information Modelling (BIM) Technician at an executive architecture firm, a position I have held since earning a Bachelor of Design in 2019. This role has taken me to Sydney, Adelaide, and back to Melbourne, where I collaborated on some very large and exciting projects. have enjoyed communicating my ideas, listening to, and considering the different perspectives of all team members and assisting others in order to achieve our team's goals. My commercial work experience has also enhanced my efficiency and ability to produce high-quality documentation. In my professional capacity, I have mentored six architectural graduates, guiding them in software use, constructability concepts, and quality assurance. This has been rewarding as I have witnessed the results of my contribution towards the development of my colleagues. My ability to manage several demanding tasks concurrently is evidenced by my strong performance in the Master of Architecture (First Class Honours Average) whilst, not only meeting the deadlines of my full-time job, but maintaining a high level of attention to detail. I have focused on developing my leadership skills in my work environment and when undertaking group assignments within the Master's program. I have taken on the responsibilities of goal setting, facilitating knowledge sharing among team members, quality checking, and compiling the final product. My ambition is to continue enhancing my leadership and technical skills, broaden my understanding of the built environment, and contribute to the implementation of innovative and creative ideas. With my background I believe I would help students develop their skills and a passion for architecture. :)
