Section 2 score: 77 Hi, I'm Daniel and I am currently in my final year studying Bachelor of Science (medical science) with a minor in applied medical science at USYD. Over my three sittings for the GAMSAT, I have improved my S2 scores from 61, to 71, to 77 respectively. I understand that S2 can be a very daunting section, especially if you come from a non-humanities background. But I believe that with the right approach, S2 can be the easiest section to improve upon. My approach essentially focuses on mastering high-yield topics that can be translated into creative or argumentative style structures. I also have a lots of exemplar essays and other S2 study material that I can provide you with. I know that many medical schools are moving towards unweighted GAMSAT to rank applicants. This is especially the case with UYSD, which prioritises S2 scores. As such, improving upon your S2 scores is crucial in boosting your chances of getting into medicine.
