I'm Gabe, an MMI interviews tutor 🩺 I'm a researcher in Intensive Care, and studying the Doctor of Medicine at the Unimelb. I received a first round CSP offer without a stellar combo - a testament to my strong MMI approach!! I help students smash the medical school interview with guidance that’s effective, focused, and tailored for scoring points in any medical school. Applying for medicine, I know from experience how much INEFFECTIVE and GENERAL advice is given every year to students stressing about interviews. Additionally, most students fall into the echo chamber of preparing with their friends, or with tutors who got in only with extremely high GAMSATs and GPAs. Instead, I will show you how to approach responses for MMI, regardless of your speaking ability, and regardless of which university you are applying for. I'll also provide in-depth feedback on mistakes you've made, with ACTIONABLE steps that you can take in your own time that will improve your MMI score each session. Let's deconstruct the content of your responses (where your marks come from), and learn you how you can show the assessors how great and empathetic of a doctor you can be! I also will send you notes after each session for you to reflect on, as well as a *HUGE* bank of resources I've made and written myself, to learn in your own time (real past questions, public health, indigenous health, communication skills). At the end of it all, I run mock interviews to really hammer it in and train your stamina.
