New availability for March 2026! Non-Science Background | GAMSAT S3 - 99th Percentile | I'm a Final Year Medicine Student at University of Sydney. I came from a non-science background, and would like to share what I've learned from previously studying for GAMSAT Section 3, and having been a tutor for the past few sittings. Section 3 tests your ability to think logically given a set of rules and information, not unlike maths or programming. S3 should take 2-3 months of 3-5 hours a week to prepare for motivated students. My lessons focus on your reasoning ability and assume a limited science background, which is similar to my own when I sat the March 2022 GAMSAT. Whilst a strong science background can be helpful, the knowledge that I consider essential can be studied at a free(!), high quality resource that is Jesse Osbourne's notion page (easy to google). His materials take about a week to cover and this is ideally done as early as possible in preparing for GAMSAT S3.
