ANU Science Tutor Gabby
Hi! My name is Gabby, and I recently completed my Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the ANU, where I graduated with a 7.0 GPA and a WAM of 88. I achieved the top Honours grade in my cohort in 2024 (final mark of 90) and received the APS Psychology Thesis Prize for my thesis, which earned a grade of 88.
Before pursuing psychology, I completed a Bachelor of Science with a focus on biochemistry. While I now specialise in psychology, my background provides me with a deeper understanding of neuroscience, which informs my teaching of psychology topics.
I have been an official ANU tutor and marker for several subjects, including PSYC1003, PSYC2002, PSYC3202, PSYC3018, and PSYC3020. I understand that research methods and statistics can be challenging for many psychology students, and I’m passionate about helping students build their confidence in these areas.
Teaching is something I truly enjoy, and I love supporting aspiring psychologists to reach their goals. I’m about to begin a Master of Clinical Psychology and PhD in 2025, so I also have insights into navigating postgraduate studies.
I’m available for online tutoring (via Zoom) and can help with understanding course content, navigating assignment instructions, and providing detailed written and verbal feedback on assessment items. Having worked as a marker for both essays and exams, I am very familiar with ANU’s marking rubrics and can guide you toward achieving your best possible grades.
Looking forward to working with you!
