UniMelb Health Tutor Tharuka

Hi, I'm Tharuka! I recently completed the Bachelor of Biomedicine at Unimelb in 2024 and I am now a first year Doctor of Dental Surgery student. I understand that the GAMSAT journey is very stressful, especially when you're trying to balance GAMSAT study on top of Uni work! I achieved an 80+ in section 3 in my two GAMSAT sittings without much study. I believe that section 3 of the GAMSAT has changed such that it assesses your problem solving and reasoning skills to a much higher extent that it does your subject knowledge. I want to help you approach section 3 in a way that helps you save precious time and achieve maximal results for the effort you put in. If you are worried about lacking content knowledge, I have some resources that i can share with you! I also improved my S1 score from a 57 in my 1st sitting to a 68 in my 2nd. So I can give you some tips and strategies in your approach especially if you're someone who struggles with their vocab like me :)
