Hi everyone! I'm Alex, and I'm currently studying a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne (Class of 2027). In 2023, I was able to complete a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University and received CSP offers from all the medical schools that I applied for (Monash and UniMelb). To ensure that I received these offers, I spent 200+ hrs developing and revising strategies for the medical interview, including utilising unique answer structures, flexibly dealing with curveball questions and managing time effectively. In 2024, in my first year of tutoring MMI, 8 out of 9 students I tutored were able to receive first preference CSP offers. I also co-founded MedIQ, a company that helped 40+ students with their MMI preparation. After receiving feedback from those students, I've done some brainstorming and revamped my lessons so that I can provide a even more well rounded, systematic method to tackling MMIs! The goal of the MMIs is to identify candidates who will make great doctors. By the end of our time together, my aim is not only to help you become an outstanding medical school candidate but also a confident and articulate communicator—someone who can express their individuality effortlessly while maintaining a structured approach under pressure.
