I have never been an orthodox thinker or a by-the-books student. I believe that education and academia has never been about the pursuit of 'knowledge', rather, it is the pursuit of 'joy' through the search for 'truth'. In doing so, we might experience the joy of understanding this wondrous and mysterious world we find ourselves in ever more, and carry on the collective legacy of humanity's endless pursuit. My unique approach and methodology to learning is a product of overcoming academic difficulties and personal struggles in my pursuit of higher education. This has allowed me to integrate and adapt traditional and novel methods to my approach and cater specifically to my student's unique needs. Lessons: Imagine personalised lessons tailored to your specific needs and learning style. My methodology centres on the idea that all concepts, theorems, ideas no matter how complex in nature should be, and can be simplified into an easy and relatable concept. We will use a 'first principle' approach to learning, and in doing so, transform abstract theory into applied real-life tools. Typical lesson lengths are 1 hour for general and on-going tuition, but shorter or longer lengths may be catered to your specific needs. Teaching Ethos: I am an experienced tutor at all levels from high-school to bachelors students. I am a graduate of the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and Master of International Relations. Understanding deeply the personal struggles and difficulties of education and academia, it is important to me that my students have a safe and comfortable learning space where they are guided with patience, care and support.
