Macq. Science Tutor Daniel

Hello fellow psychology-lovers!
My name is Daniel and I completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) in 2024. Graduating with First Class Honours and the Macquarie University Award for Academic Excellence, I performed at a Distinction level or higher in all my units of study. My academic strengths are report writing and statistical analysis skills, but frankly I love all of Psychology.
As a tutor, I take a student-led approach, with the aim of supporting your success through clear goal-setting and tailoring sessions to suit your learning style. I have years of experience in tutoring HSC-level maths to underperforming students, and am a trained PASS/PAL leader. My biggest motivator is seeing people's grades improve - people often fall behind because they think differently or life gets in the way, not because they lack intelligence, so I'm always looking for opportunities to build my students' confidence.
I can assist you with understanding key psychological or statistical concepts, improving your approach to research and writing, revising for exams, and developing your academic thinking more broadly. I have a deep passion for quality research and don't hold back in sharing my enthusiasm.
Tutoring sessions are held online (e.g., Zoom) and can involve reviewing lecture content or quiz feedback, Stata exercises, journal search activities, collaborative proofreading, etc. I'll even take the time to explain how you can implement your marker's comments! Group sessions are available; special pricing applies.
