I have more than 10 years of experience teaching mathematics across a wide range of levels, from secondary school through to university. My teaching experience covers VCE and all levels of high school mathematics, as well as university-level subjects. I have worked with several private tutoring companies and have also served as a casual tutor at both the University of Melbourne and the University of Queensland. My experience includes designing exam questions, marking assessments, and fostering meaningful academic discussions with students. Over the years, I have developed a strong understanding of how to support learners at different stages of their education, from younger high school students to more mature university students. Throughout my teaching career, I have thought carefully about what makes mathematics teaching effective. I believe that patience, clear communication, and focused one-on-one support are some of the most effective ways to help students succeed in mathematics. Working with an experienced mathematician also gives students a deeper appreciation of what mathematics is beyond the classroom, helping them build a strong foundation for future study.
