UQ Health Tutor Lachlan

I am a 3rd year medical student at UQ. I am keen to teach 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year medical content. (As well as health-related undergrad courses). I started tutoring as a UQMS Peer Mentor where I taught first year students weekly content for 2 hours. I used presentations, past papers, kahoots, and other in-person tutoring methods. I enjoyed that I could provide insider knowledge about what content UQ actually cares about ‘high yield farming’ and personally I found it genuinely so useful for consolidating my own knowledge. It’s so fun to get to actually apply all these things we’re forced to learn. I prefer in person tutoring, but happy to do online when required. I like using University of other study spaces. I’m happy to tutor individually or I also really like to furor groups to make participation easier. For group sessions I my rate change is basically ~double rate for more 4 or more students, or ~triple for 8 or more.
