I'm Tien, completed Master of Professional Accounting at UTS with HD average (3.88) and working in accounting for a law firm. Experienced tutor 5+ years experience. Not only have sound knowledge on the subjects I tutor (all HD), I have experience in tutoring a wide range of students including Australian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Saudi Arabian, Korean, Pakistani, Thai. I also worked as teaching assistant and peer tutor at university. I received the Thomson Reuters prize for having the best performance in Company and Securities Law. My goal is to help students understand the lectures and be able to solve problems by themselves so that they can be confident and get good results (HD if possible) My tutor philosophy is not only teach students knowledge but also study methods. In other words, I want the person I tutor know everything I know about the subjects and be able to get the best marks in exams. I normally charge $100/hr but lower rate apply for group. Tien tutored me Taxation Law, Accounting for decision making A, financial system and corporate finance. I was struggling really bad with the finance units and Tien had helped me ACHIEVE great marks in all four units were as I was struggling to pass. She started tutoring me from the middle of the semester still managed to catch up with all the subjects from the beginning till the end of semester. Even after having bad midsem text results she prepared me so well for the finals that it boosted my grades. She Helped me figure out the best way to study my units so that I remember every bit of what I did which was EXTRAORDINARY. She can explain really well and she would try to make me understand unless I actually understood the CONCEPT. she has a really strong base and knowledge of what she is teaching. Now I feel really confident about how to approach in studies and my expectations are higher. It was a pleasure and surprise to Achieve such high marks.

Tien seriously saved me! I was heading down the path of failing Financial Management and as soon as I contacted Tien, things looked brighter. Tien is an incredible tutor - she is able to simplify to the financial jargon and calculations, she tailors her tuts to your learning, she is patient and worth every cent and more!
