Flinders Science Tutor Kirsten

I couldn’t recommend Kirsten enough, she seriously saved me in my first year chemistry topics! I often found it difficult to keep up with what was being taught during lectures - Kirsten was able to explain the content that I was struggling with in a more simplified manner, making it much easier to grasp. Her teaching techniques enabled me to succeed in topics that I feared failing. Most of all, Kirsten makes you feel comfortable and generally wants to ensure you get the most out of your session. I will continue to seek help from Kirsten throughout my studies and highly recommend her to anyone seeking additional help!

Kirsten has been an incredible tutor this year! I’ve always found biology to be challenging, and have previously found laboratory reports to be the most daunting aspect of biology topics. Kirsten’s feedback was honest (but kind!) and has helped me to develop my scientific writing to a much higher standard. I would highly recommend Kirsten as a tutor; her help with Biochemistry and Molecular Biology has been very valuable and helped me to improve both my grades and my confidence in scientific writing. Kirsten is an excellent tutor. She is able to explain content in an easy to understand and accessible way. Kirsten took the time to ensure that I understood her explanations and was always patient and thoughtful with her feedback. I was really struggling with confidence in my topic and Kirsten was more than happy to talk through anything content related. I highly recommend Kirsten for anyone looking for a tutor!

I started seeing Kirsten before my chemistry exam which I was feeling very unsure about. After seeing Kirsten I had a new found understanding of chemistry and went in to my exam I previously thought I would fail with a new found confidence. I would never have got the scores I received with out her help!

Kirsten is a wonderful tutor! I cannot recommend her enough. She explains things so clearly and breaks content down in a very efficient manner. She is very patient, kind and will go out of her way to help you. She should be a lecturer as her teaching style is fantastic. You definitely won't regret working with Kirsten.

After failing a quiz at the beginning of this semester in a subject I wasn't very familiar in (CHEM1202), I was feeling very stressed. Kirsten was patient and friendly and helped me feel like I could bounce back and still do well in the topic. My grades improved immensely with Kirsten's help and I went into my exam feeling confident and calm. Thanks so much Kirsten, you're a champion!
