Canberra is much friendlier than many places I’ve been
Canberra's no more or less friendly than any other Australian city. People already have their lives and it takes time for you to become part of that (and them to yours). Before blaming an entire population, consider your own openness and warmth to total strangers. Talk openly, smile, ask questions. Find your tribe.

I’ve found exactly the same thing. This is my second semester and I know no one!
Because Canberra is generally not a friendly place. I struggled so hard to make friends at UC because everyone already had friends from school or from their accomodation. Melbourne on the other hand, I’ve made so many friends because everyone approaches you with a smile.

Hey guys any idea on after which percent of plagiarism do they contact you? Like is it a problem only for red or also for yellow that says warning
It’s dependent on what is plagiarised For example, I had to write a report in first year where we all had to use the same template and intro so most of it was plagiarised according to URKUND. Always just look at the report and what exactly is it counting as plagiarised because it might be a high score but not really be an issue.
Maybe if it's above the average plagiarism thing or maybe if ur content is exactly same to someone then they would contact you....also if it's red

Hi, I suggest going to uc medical and counselling and booking an appointment with a psychologist! That personally helped me a lot

Hey there! Anywhere on campus that has hot water taps to make our own tea/coffee?
Plenty, there's one in the library and a few scattered all around look for the kitchens and large metal sinks around campus most of them will have one with a few exceptions which I believe the refectory sink does not have one.
