Description

This Herbarium is what the staff like to call a 'plant library'. Inside the herbarium is over 100,000 plant collections and specimens. In the herbarium they conduct studies and develop cases for each specimen. The herbarium is open to the public by appointment only. They welcome school tours, honour student, post graduate students, scientist and students from other universities wanting to conduct some research. The staff members of the herbarium would like the public to remember that it is a place of research, not plants out on display. Turn left at the top of the stairs walk to the end of the hallway and then turn left again.
