One of the worst units at UNE. This unit’s practicals were physically painful to attend. This unit is awful and useless for my degree.

Having knowledge from doing chemistry during the HSC definitely helped improve my marks majorly!

Great introduction to Chemistry. I was able to achieve well without having any prior study of Chemistry. The pracs were very helpful in reinforcing concepts and visualising something somewhat abstract. Lecturers were great to work with and very helpful.

The prac's are mostly fun, though at the beginning it's mostly about learning skills. The theory can be difficult to grasp without a HSC knowledge, but if you attend all the lectures and pracs you'll be fine.
