The 'lectures' are just the lecture reading out the advisory notes, verbatim. There is minimal feedback from the lecturer throughout - although he does talk a lot about his own book (which is the set text). Don't expect to get any decent feedback on your final story - I got an average grade and no feedback, which isn't at all helpful for improving your skills, which this subject claims it helps you to do. The online forums are good practice however, and being able to workshop with your fellow students is the most helpful aspect of the whole topic.
