A really interesting unit for first time students studying law. All concepts are interesting to learn, however sometimes it was difficult to decipher the chronological order that the lecture slides should be in. While the unit coordinator and lecturer know there stuff, Lisa tends to sometimes go over new and difficult concepts too quickly, not realising that students are learning this material for the first time. The lecturer can also take a while to sometimes respond to the discussion forum posts. A review of the lectures, powerpoints, topic notes and tutorial questions would be beneficial to make this unit better. Also, the two online assessable quiz's covered some content that was never taught, and this did not concern the lecturer! The assignment and the final exam questions were also a little ambiguous, merely asking students to 'discuss the relevant issues', which is a bit vague and does not provide a clear path or guidance to students. Students who are interested in the subject matter may forgive these errors of the unit, and actually get a lot out of this interesting and relevant unit.

Found this unit quite hard as it was my first law unit and open book exam. A lot of the unit is common sense. Don't second guess yourself.
